When I add a coupon it's applicable to every product in our catalog unless I restrict it to just one or several products.

I want our coupons to work for everything except for one item.

How can I accomplish this?

In UC2 you just click "Apply coupon to all products except those listed below." and then enter the product you don't want it to work for.

See attached screenshot.

Hmm, I'm using 5.x-1.0-rc2
I'd have to upgrade to drupal 6 to get uc2, right?

That looks like a modified version of the coupon module I installed, which wasn't part of uc before, it was a module released by Blake Lucchesi from boldsource.com

Did UC just start including it in the package and is it available in the latest 5.3 version of UC?
