I've been using Authorize.net for credit card processing for the past 16 months, but am in the process of changing it over to First Data using uc_linkpoint_api 6.x-1.5, D 6.19, U 6.x-2.4. I'm in Production Mode on the Live Server using my personal credit card. AVS checking is working fine, but I have CVV set to 'Card code matches (M)' and the log shows "Payment failed for order 175: Credit card declined for $6.24 with error: CVV verification failed because code was "X"." The payment goes through successfully if I set CVV to 'Disable CVV Check'.
I spoke to First Data Tech Support and was told the "X" return code indicates no response from the credit card association was received. Their virtual terminal transaction log shows three entries for my latest order attempt "Auth", "Ticket" and then "Void Sale". He said "someone" went in and voided the sale, but I'm assuming uc-linkpoint-api did that when the CCV didn't match.
I attempted to send orders through on 11/09 with the same settings, and again today. It seems unlikely that the credit card association wouldn't send a response on two different days, so I'm looking for troubleshooting ideas.
