I'm fairly happy with Ubercart's ease of use and functionality. However, my client is not. He's absurdly fixed on the issue of the collapsible form on the checkout page, as it's still buggy in IE. I've set this setting off in the configuration menu, however it's still showing up. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Similarly, he's not happy with the terminology that is used and wants to change some things around. I poked through all of the files associated with this module to find a quick work around for each of the following. Can someone please help me?
- "Add to Cart" buttons on the product page should either be a graphic, or the text should be changed to "Checkout".
- Only one product should be in the shopping cart at once. (The site is membership plan based.)
- The display of "Optional. New customers may supply custom account details. We will create these for you if no values are entered." Is confusing and un-necessary for our needs and should be removed.
- "Zone" should be changed to "State"
- Receipt page should be more stylesheet friendly.

Regarding the things you're looking to change, some can simply be changed through settings forms. I'd look through the product and checkout settings fields, and you should find where to rename the buttons and zone to state. Regarding the removal of the optional message, this will most simply be done using the locale module (which I'm not familiar with), but may better be done with a simple custom module that removes that description from the form.
