I'm sure it's because I'm jumping the gun somewhere along the line but the purchased files aren't showing up on the "my files" page after purchase. Is there a very obvious 'gotcha' that's in play here?

I'm not sure what your payment gateway is, but during my testing I have found that a purchased file will show up if you receive the check (using the Test Gateway and paying by Check or Money order)... but you have to give the receive date as something earlier than today's date. Then, make the order "Processing". Shipment pending doesn't seem to work all the time (again, in my testing).
After you do that, the files should show up.

Hi , i am using paypal sand box gateway , i have same problem when i purchased product or subscribe product as registered user , then i check my account and click on " myfile" , but there is no download file .
if i test check for only product not subscribe product , in this case i changed status of product pending to payment received then i can see myfile in my account , but case of subscribe product , there is no report log status.....
i have set no sipping charges for all type of product ..
I am doing wrong some where or missing something or i need some more stuff for subscribe product ..................
i have spent 7 days on this problem but no solution get yet..............
Please help me .
