We have a new Ubercart installation using QBMS CC Gateway. We see orders processing successfully--and we've had one report of someone who says they completed their order that we have no record of. The person is not showing up as a customer and the order is not showing up in Ubercart. We also checked our merchant account and do not see any indication that the credit card was processed.

My sense is that the person did not complete check out, and I want to cover all of my bases and see if there are cases where an order doesn't post to Ubercart.

If they say they completed an order, they should have an order number you can cross reference in the order search facility, and from there you can figure out what's going on. Or if they can't tell you that, the date and time that they ordered should be enough for you to narrow it down to a range of order IDs, which you can look at individually.

Well, we've had a couple of other reports of this sort. For some, what looks to be happening is that the order is stuck at the "In checkout" status. It's hard to really know if they have click the submit order button.

They don't have their order IDs because they never received the confirmation email.

Are there any reasons why an order might be stuck at "in checkout" after someone hits Submit order?
