Hi,
My company (Bloom Apps) is releasing a new web app soon. Our company's website will be based on Drupal, which we're very familiar with. I was wondering, do people have thoughts about one detail of the checkout process -- namely, keeping them on-site versus off.
Do conversion rates trail off significantly if you ask them to complete payment offsite (as with PayPal)? Is it worth getting a "real" merchant account with Authorize.net just to keep them on your website through the whole process?
Are there alternatives to Authorize that keep them on the website the whole time? Does Amazon FPS let you stay or are people required to go off site there as well?
Thanks,
Chris from Bloom Apps
p.s. Our first batch of beta invites go out July 31, so if you're interested, come on down!
