Hey guys, i've been looking to see if anyone else is trying to do the same as me but i can't find anything.

I am setting up a site that does pc repair, web design and hosting. We would like to be able to send them an invoice when service is done. They are given a specific link or account they login and pay the amount they owe.

I'm not too sure what i need to do to get it to work this way, I am cool with creating the customers account and adding the specific items to their cart and they pay them but i would like to send them an invoice.

in the order after creating the order go the order click on the edit tab
This will take you to the page whre the order is displayed here there is a link called invoice(tab)
click this tab
this will show u the invoice with another 3 tabs called printable in voice mail in voice click mail in voice this will take u to a new page enter the customes email id this will be filed automatically using the order data hit send

hope this helps

please test it i have never user it but it is present in the package.

Okay i figured out how to create an order and send the invoice but how does the customer pay the invoice?

was going to use paypal. And wanted to somehow have recurring payments kinda like a subscription for the people we host.

the subscription part isn't that big of a deal but i would like to be able to send the invoices and have the customer come to the site and login and pay the amount they owe.

I dont thisk this will be possible be cause even if u give them the right to edit an order and and they try to process the credit caerd or pay by any method at that time it does not allow you to complete the payment you can try some thing like using some module that allows offline cc processing thta way you can create the order using purchase order or some thing then allow the user to edit the order during thta time process the cc i am still not sure if thta is posssible.

best solution will be you tell the user to create the order after the service is provided by u to them u can craetthe account for them then tell them what to add to cart and complete the order.
