Hi

I would like to set up a system where:
-I can upload photographs of a client to a private space.
-The client can access the photographs using a username/password.
-The client can then order a print of the photo, paying for it online.

Has anyone module suggestions for achieving this?
Or has anyone done anything similar and have any suggestions.

Is it eaiser to do something like this with Durpal 6?
Or am I better of sticking with Drupal 5?

Thanks!

No suggestions? Does this

No suggestions? Sad Does this mean Ubercart is not suited to something like this?

Re: Module suggestions for Private Photo ordering system

A friend of mine has been asking me if I could build her a website with this functionality as well but I have not yet looked into it. Has this been done before?

Re: Module suggestions for Private Photo ordering system

There are a number of ways to build a website in Drupal with private spaces. Take a look at the various access control modules... Taxonomy Access Control, Content Access, Simple Access, even Organic Groups, etc. You then give them access to only those photo product nodes, so only they (and you) can visit and purchase from these pages. There are other modules specifically for creating user-specific galleries or profiles-as-nodes. That might be another route, but would take a little research and thinking about your workflow.

Ubercart products are just a Drupal content type so you're probably best off looking at things from the Drupal perspective, not specifically within Ubercart.
