I don't know if this is a bug or not, probably not! But I installed RC1 and now cannot get to the admin pages. When I try to go to the admin pages it just stalls. If I try the main page, it seems I can go anywhere else. Does anyone have any ideas?

Did you run update.php? Are you just getting a white screen or something else? Gotta be a little more descriptive for us to help.

Hi Ryan,
Yes, I have run update twice. I click on Administration page once the update is complete and I get a status bar at the bottom of the browser but it does not progress. After a bit, I clicked on the main page link and it makes a quick change to the main page. I have tried to get to the main page directly from the main page, but still no progress when I select it. The status bar shows up at the bottom but it makes no page change. What information can I provide you with?

Hmm... are you seeing any errors or warnings in your Apache and/or PHP logs? Do you have access to those? If not, you might try looking in your watchdog.

I tried to edit my previous post. After posting I tried again and within seconds the site responded and went to the admin page. What kind of information do you need, if any?

That sounds to me like Cron was running (or it was looking for Available Updates to modules). Now and then we'll see this same thing happen on our site - I'll go to an Admin link, and the site will be "waiting" for about 10-15 seconds, and when it comes back it tells me that Cron was run or there are Updates for modules. If this doesn't happen every single time you go to Admin then you probably have nothing to worry about.
