Hi,

Using Ubercart 2.0 RC3 with the latest Pathauto module installed the urls for the product pages themselves are generated automatically based on the product titles and this works well.

In the catalog block the links to the categories are in the form

catalog/1
catalog/2
etc

How can this be changed to

catalog/shirts
catalog/hats
etc

I can manually make a url alias and it works and I can see the automated alias rules for taxonomy and catalog but I can't seem to automate the process.

Can it be automated? If so can someone please let me know how.

After removing and recreating all of the aliases this now seems to be working correctly for me now.

but how about in the catalog block?

Hi,

I have the same problem and I found the same solusion. However, how about the linkes of Catalog BLOCK? The links of the block will go to catalog/1 ... (of course I can access catalog/bag ....correctly).

Do you know?

Install and enable the Pathauto module then go to admin/build/path/pathauto and click "Catalog Path Settings" check the box next to "Bulk generate aliases for catalog pages that are not aliased" and hit save and it will generate the paths if they dont' already exist.
