Has anyone upgraded a production site from Drupal 5 ubercart 1.0 to Ubercart 2.0 on Drupal 6?

Is there even an upgrade path? Any help/suggestions would be great.

Thanks,

Aaron

Re: Anyone Upgrade from drupal 5 ubercart 1.0 to drupal 6 uberca

This is something we are doing. The upgrade path is difficult because there are modules that changed or were dropped in favor of others, such as is happening with coupons and discounts; plus I'm not sure if CA support is available for much of what we need to do.

It's not impossible but I'd go over every aspect of your store before and after the conversion (do the upgrade on a test copy of your site first).

Any ETA (e.g. 1-2 months, more than three months) on the upgrade path from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6 version of Ubercart?

I have been wanting to upgrade my entire site to Drupal 6 but ubercart has been the stumble block.

Would you recommend one to simply uninstall ubercart 1.0 and manually re-do all the settings and input the products? if one only have less than 20 items.

Or the current ubercart RC3 already provide some sort of incomplete upgrade path?
(I have not seen anyone reporting success on upgrading from 1.0 yet...)

To add to the suggestions above, there is also a rough guide here:

Thanks but does that actually work? Did you try it? Anyone actually did that on production sites?
Given that the upgrade path for ubercart is "not completed", would it actually preserve all the ubercart catalogs and upgrade successfully?
