Hello all i am updating to Drupal 6 and have some questions as i am running a multisite setup. I am going to update the sites one at time as required so my question is mainly this.

As part of a Drupal 6 update i am supposed to update all my contributed modules right? However this will break ubercart 1.x right? Since i run multisite system i do not want to break all the sites only one at a time therefore i cannot really update all my contributed modules right?

hmmm ?? any ideas ?? thinking of setting up a test site then updating one site to the latest 5.X module versions. Then updating to 6.X and Ubercart 2 it is alots of extra work but seems the best option

I just upgraded a site from D5 to D6 and all went good except for images in UC. Couldn't get them to show up. I had to fully remove UC and Image cache and all instances to UC/Image cache in the DB then reinstall everything several times. After the 5th time the images started to show. Luckily the cart part of the site wasn't active so I didn't lose too many products but it wasn't a pleasant experience. I didn't do this on a live site but a test site. Once its finished I'll then remove the old site and transfer the new site as the live one.
