Hi,

We need to hide some products from all our customers except those from a certain group.

We've looked at the various discount options but we just don't want our customers even seeing the product. For example, we're a WiFi hotspot provider and we sell equipment to our customers at £X plus £Y per month. Our resellers just pay £Z for the equipment - therefore we don't want our customers seeing the reseller stuff.

Does that make any sense?

Try This

I have a similar scenario, but rather than hide products, I have a webpage with external cart_links and pass attribute options back to Ubercart to perform the discounts (using negative pricing in the options).

The attribute options and pricing can then be hidden on Ubercart's product pages (former with CSS "display:none," latter simply by editing products' fields display).

But I also wanna know how to hide product categories based on user role for other reasons...
