I am at the point where I am going to start adding products to my store. I have a query regarding a couple of uses of taxonomy/cck.
My catalog taxonomy is by type, so you have
Books
- Technical
- Certification
- Fun
Geek
- Toys
- Shirts
etc etc.
I want to add a way of entering the product brand (and maybe another one or two types). I want to be able to click on the link and see the products that share that brand name. I don't want it to appear in the catalog block though. In addition, I want to be able (at some point) write a report that will allow me to run report by brand. I don't think this is currently possible, but with the future in mind, whats the best way for me to do this kind of think? CCK field or taxonomy?
