I've been reading all of the various posts regarding Paypal Pro and Authorize.net. I'm curious about the stability of each within Ubercart. Authorize takes more work to setup, but Paypal can be a bit "buggy" at times, at least in past experience. I've got to launch a site very shortly and need the best solution with Ubercart. Any suggestions are appreciated. Btw, Ubercart is really, really nice. I hope to help out real soon.

Re: Papal Pro vs Authorize.net

i really dont have issues with paypal website payments pro. There were some issues regarding the merchant rate, but i fought to get them lowered and well i've got it.

I was about to go with Authorize.net, but they have really bad double standards. I need to go with a local guy who would be my Merchant partner and would take a part of the pie.

For me paypal would directly deposit into my account and it integrates well with paypal express checout and paypal payments pro.

Schaub, FWIW, I set up Authorize.net for a client with no problem in Ubercart - seamless.

The subject of this post is exactly my problem right now. Trying to decide between PayPal Pro and Authorize.Net. I see this was posted over 2 years ago. If you're still out there, what did you choose and how well did it work out for you?
