Hi,

I've done loads of searching around the forums and tried a few contribs but nothing quite answers the question I'm asking.

If there a contribution that allows for product quantity pricing? The costs would be specific per quantity, per product and ideally displayed on the site in the following tabular format:

QTY   100   250   500   1000
PRICE £1.00 £0.95 £0.92 £0.89

It's not a site wide percentage discount, purely a quantity discount specifically defined for each product.

I've set up Drupal and Ubercart this morning and found that it does exactly what I want it to do - apart from this, and it's a vital drawback if it can't.

Thanks for your help.

Scott.

Sorry to bump but hoping someone clever comes across this with the answer for me!

What if each QTY is a different product? ...then just create some node and display the "products" (QTY sets) on the site in the tabular format. In each "product" include a "Cart Link" and by clicking it, the customer ends up to the cart or checkout (or where ever you require in the cart link)

Maybe there are far more better solutions for this, but this one came into my mind.

Hmmm, something to think about, thanks. Problem with that is that it'd 4x or 5x my product list making updates take that much longer.

Still, good thinking.

However, I'm still on the look out for a plug-in which will let me tabulate my pricing like this if anyone knows of one?

Updated that issue today

There are problems with both of the modules on that page, I just posted a request for someone that knows how to fix this, including a screenshot and my willingness to pay to get it fixed.

custom_price doesn't work - no ui, php knowledge required. product Discounts works but has a crappy ui for the front end that can't even be properly themed. the volume_discount module on that page comes closest but doesn't take attribute discounts into consideration so still doesn't solve this problem.

please contact me if you are willing and able to fix this problem.

The easiest and best way to do this is with the uc_custom_price contribution: http://drupal.org/project/uc_custom_price

Just my opinion. I tried setting up quantity levels as different products, attributes, etc. This way is the cleanest.

crazy

I find it crazy that 2 years after this thread was created there is still no viable solution to this problem. It can't be that rare of a requirement.
