I remember reading this somewhere, but i can't recall where...should i only set it to "owner permissions" that can read/write/execute?

Does public need to read or execute the encryption key? I just want to be 110% sure, rather than make an educated guess Eye-wink

Thanks

Re: What permissions should i set the encryption key file folder

To start with, just the web server needs to read/write/execute the key directory. Once you tell Ubercart where to find it, it will create the encryption key file, and then set the permissions to read-only. Making the web server the owner of the directory is probably the easiest way to let this happen.
