I had a problem before with a theme when activating Ubercart modules. Certain pages would not render the theme, though all the content was there. I went into performance settings and optimized CSS and all was fine. I heard this was due to too many css files being called at once, and the optimize CSS option streamlines them.

I'm no longer sure this is relating to Ubercart though, but as I first noticed the problem with the Ubercart modules I'm asking about it here. Today I went tweak a css file and the theme broke again. I restored my edits and still no luck. So I tried other themes including zen and garland and still they all seem to be broken; none of them are rendering although all the contend is there. I've also tried various settings under performance and cleared the cache.

I should also note I'm having the same issues cross web browsers.

I'm not sure it is relevant but I this is a pre-production site online. I moved the directory path recently, but other than a few absolute links I had to change all came out OK. But I wonder if the path to my themes somehow might be an issue?

Thanks in advance for any advice...

Shopping Cart Block

It's the shopping cart block!

I don't understand why but if I turn on the shopping cart block then none of my pages render correctly. It doesn't matter what region I put it in.

any ideas ?

can you post URL

so we can take a look? Did you do any custom theme work specific to the cart at all?

Re: can you post URL

No I didn't any custom theming, though I am using the Newswire contributed theme. But go figure, I don't know why, but, everything is working! I upgraded to 6.15, flushed all the caches, and it will was still failing every time I activated the shopping cart block. But now all of a sudden it is working. I suppose it could have been my browser cache, but having had a similar problem a couple of times now I'm worried it might have something to do with the PHP memory. I'm just totally guessing though.

The client is new so I've been reluctant to post the dev. site up. Appreciate your response though...
