i have never used cck. the documentation on ubercart doesnt mention how to use cck to enable images in the product's node and so . .. i m lost as to how to proceed.

could some kind soul educate me on cck for images and ubercart? what modules and sub modules of cck do i need?

Re: cck+images

Check the documentation.
Regarding the images, you will need to install imagecache.

Start enabling the modules and configuring the CCK according to the documentation, it's pretty good.

As a side note, Ubercart doesn't require CCK, it simply lives peacefully next to it.

Image support should be configured automatically... check the store status table at /admin/store.

Re: cck+images

Hi. New user here. Just installed everything yesterday. I notice that on your live demo site, product images are viewed using Lightbox. I was wondering if this is a new feature, or how to implement it on my end. I tried enabling the Lightbox module for Drupal, but is there any direction I can be pointed in?

Thanks,
Andrew

Actually, it's the Thickbox module. You'll want to install that as well for sexy popover images. Details here: http://www.ubercart.org/docs/user/294/installing_drupal_modules
