Hi everyone,

I could not find information on this in the forums. Is there any way to integrate Ubercart checkout with a magnetic credit card reader / card swiper, for POS?

If this is not possible, any advice on what people do at conferences to take sales in person? Is typing in someone's CC # the only way?

I don't think anyone has integrated a card reader. Just to be safe, you should search for "Ubercart POS" and or "Ubercart POS card reader" to be sure. The best solution I know of is manual order entry

UberPOS looks pretty promising, but it looks like card reader support is still in development.

This code has just been committed to http://www.drupal.org/project/uberpos

left-click has been using it with cc processing in its stores since early February... so far so good.

You need an Authorize.net Card Present Account.

Refunds/Voids still need to be completed done through Authorize's web interface for money to be returned to the customer...
