Was this information Helpful?

Im working with products that often have a number of different weights available which are different prices. How can I get the Attributes to display the final prices, not by how much they differ?

At the moment my product page has a price, and underneath it the different weights as Attributes. The Attributes say something like ‘5Kg, +$10’, ‘10Kg, +$18’.

What I would like is for it to say 5Kg $10, 10Kg $18. I would like to specify the price of Attributes of a product, but for these to be the actual price of the product for that attribute, not to be added to the normal price.

Thanks

Re: Attributes as final price not addition to normal price?

There is a setting that allows that, especially if you have only 2 attirubtes...At this point though, I need more specific information in order to be helpful. How many attributes? Possible to buy the product without selecting any attributes?

The only variable will be the weight, although this changes the price. Some units will only be available in one weight, others in up to 3.
Thanks

since you only have one variable, weight, you can just change the setting at admin menu>store administration>configuration>attribute settings, set it to display total price, instead of the default display price adjustment

Hi Uberchic, love the screen name!

I need flexibility. Some products only available in one weight will later have different weights. Maybe setting the base price for everything as 0 and using an attribute even if there is only 1 value would be the best solution?

Is there a way of having multiple 'add to cart' buttons for the different attributes?

Thanks

I don't know of a way to have multiple add to cart buttons on one product, but i'm also not sure why you're want to.

Id love to make something like this;

I dont think having attributes as tick boxes looks quite as nice and simple.

Maybe this will help

Maybe this video will help you: http://www.tubesfan.com/watch/ubercart-tutorial-things-you-can-do-with-u... . The thing is that when people know where are the boundaries they always manage to find the solution within them.
