I've been using Ubercart for a few days and have my product catalogs all set up now but I've been having a lot of trouble figuring out the shipping.
I have three classes of products and want to charge a different amount to ship each, but the shipping would not increase based on the quantity of the products ordered. In addition to that I'd like the shipping total to be only the cost of the most expensive shipping class.
That's kind of hard to explain, so here's a breakdown:
-Items from Product Class #1 ship for free regardless of how many a customer orders
-Items from Product Class #2 ship for $5 regardless of how many a customer orders
-Items from Product Class #3 ship for $9 regardless of how many a customer orders
So, to provide some examples, if a user ordered five items from class #1, the shipping would be free.
If they ordered two items from Class #2, the shipping would be $5.
And, for an extreme example, if the customer ordered ten items from every class, the shipping would be $9 (again total shipping would only be as much as a single item with the most expensive shipping cost).
I'm hoping I explained this well and that this is possible. Unfortunately nothing I have tried has come close to working and I haven't been able to find the information I'm looking for in the documentation or searching the forums.
