Hello, I have read this, and checked the boxes (at /admin/store/settings/taxes/edit/) for "Coupon discount" and "Empty line" under "Taxed line items".

However, when an administrator creates an order and adds either a line item charge (for a product) or a discount, tax isn't applied. There is only one tax rule set up, which is for in-state purchases. As such, the weight is set at "0".

Anyway, I cannot figure out why tax isn't being applied to these "Blank Line" items. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Well, it's apparently a bug in UC 1 that was fixed in UC2. See: http://drupal.org/node/382674
Unfortunately, the UC1 patch doesn't seem to fix it.

Tax Not Being Applied to "Blank Line" Items

Hello,
Could someone help with this issue above. I'm running 6.x-2.4 and the tax is not being applied to the blank line items still. I've got the proper check boxes set in the "admin/store/settings/taxes/1/edit" "TAXED PRODUCT TYPES: Product and "Blank line" product" checked.

Taxes are not being applied to the blank line items when I have the bullet on "TAXED PRODUCTS: Apply tax to shippable products only" selected. I have items in my store that are not shippable and can't be taxed in Idaho.

Could someone please help.
