I am in need of a paid membership upon registration. I do not want to create a product that the user must purchase in order to gain access to the site.
What I'm looking for is this:
When a user visits my website in order for the to begin to buy or sell on the website, they must register or create a new account. Upon doing so (at same time) I need for them to be able to choose either a 1 month membership or 6 month membership. upon completion of filling out this form with all of their information , they will be charged on their card or paypal account and automatically be logged in with their newly created account.
The only thing that I found that does exactly this is a paid for module which is membership suite. http://www.moneyscripts.net/drupal-membership-suite
The only problem is it costs $65.00 which is alot considering there are so many free modules out there~. does anyone have any idea of how i can do this without having to physically create a "product" that the user must purchase .
Also, another problem with that is that the user must already have an account in order to purchase and that's not what i want. I want them to purchase the membership upon signing up.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
