Hello,

I want to change the layout of my shop.
Currently I have 2 content types (19% and 6%). The main terms are:
DVD
-judo
-krav maga, etc
Book
-judo
-krav maga, etc
Clothing
-judo
-krav maga, etc
Training weapons
-sticks
-sword, etc
Training equipment
- punching bags, etc

As you can see I have a functional vocabulary structure that is mixed with a martial arts styles.

How can I make a functional structure (catalog) and a martial arts style based structure (catalog). I think this would make searching a lot easier for my customers.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi Sanne,

I'm very new to Drupal and Ubercart, but my suggestion would be to set up the to vocabularies, Catalog and MAStyle (example names). Structure your shop around the catalogs and use MAStyles to allow searching to produce "MAStyle" filters. I imagine that you'll have overlap (ie punching bags might have all MAStyles associated with it but DVDs won't, obviously Smiling ). Though exactly how one uses these filters to the fullest (ie a drop down list to turn the shop into a Judo-only shop, for instance), I'm not certain.
