I want to have a block that will display "Did you forget the shoes?" or some such, when the customer is viewing their cart, only if they dont have the shoe product in their cart.

I'm doing conference registration, and they need to have 3 things in their cart: conference registration, meal choices and messages for the conference program. I'm afraid they will just register for the conference and not notice the instructions say to get the meals and messages too!

How can I have a mildly annoying red message in a block show up only if they do not have a product in their cart?

Or, how can I have the "add to cart" button for the conference registration redirect instead of to viewing to the cart, to the meal product? and then have the add to cart button for the meal product redirect to the messages product? But have the messages product redirect to the cart?

I'm thinking the block would be easier.

Any help or brainstorming is welcome!

(this is slightly related to my problem of http://www.ubercart.org/forum/support/17912/how_have_quantity_part_attri...)

Hi,

I am working in a similar setup and I am too missing that PHP snippet. Can you share your solution?

Thank you.
