I'd like to customize the product images on my product pages to not use lightbox or thickbox, instead I'd like it to look/work like the product images on this page: http://rotofugi.com/toyscart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=&idproduct=7100.

I've been trying to get it to work with views 2 + slideshow. It only shows the first product image but no thumbnails or pager.

Does anyone have the view code, module, or a known solution? I've been searching google for hours with no luck.

thanks in advance!

I'm not really a geek, I just play one on TV.

Re: How to create custom ubercart product page with views slides

You might look into this module

http://drupal.org/project/modules?solrsort=sis_project_release_usage%20d...

I use it and I'm very happy with it.

You put up your photos into a block and slideshow progresses. If user clicks on an image it links to the node.

It even has zoom ability. Pretty slick, easy to install and it works.

The rotofugi.com is a Galleria type slideshow. Just search in Drupal downloads for Galleria. I don't like the hover feature, because people on slow connections can create alot of issues.

I want to click on each little picture so that big image doesn't render accidentally with mouse movement on the page.

Have a look at this... http://vimeo.com/16100791. It might take you part way there. The last part of the video shows the tweaks that provides your desired format. If you figure it out, could you please post back, as I am behind you on the learning curve and would like the same functionality.

You can use...

Views Slideshow will do the trick. I've just done it on my site (which isn't live yet). works great! when creating a view, just choose views slideshow. There are tutorials on the web for this. just google it or check out mustardseedmedia.com/podcasts.

hope that helps if you haven't figured it out already.
