Working on testing a live PayPal site using WPS and Uber 7E. Below is the listing for the item including the end double quotes.

Clear Crystal, Rose Quartz, Garnet Nugget Necklace 19”

After PayPal processes the order the online PayPal listing now shows

Clear Crystal, Rose Quartz, Garnet Nugget Necklace 19”

Note the ae at the end in place of the double quote.

Is Uber sending in the wrong information or is PayPal doing something strange?

Perhaps it would be best on this end to just not include the single double quote indicating inches and spell inches out or use IN.....

On the same subject, how can one test a live PayPal site? Not the sandbox but live? Tried some test credit card numbers, but it would not work and asked that the card problems department be contacted? Tried the ones with 5111 etc and 4222 etc.

Or should a purchase just be made on a good credit card and then just refund or void that transaction? Need to see what is being sent to the customer from PayPal and from Uber.

indicted the payment CURRENCY CODE under

payment setting --> edit --> payment gateway --> PayPal Website Payments Pro settings

to USD

??

try that and see

i already had several live sale with paypal and got no error

The currency is set to USD, but reset and saved just in case for the following.

admin/store/settings/payment/edit/methods

At admin/store/settings/payment/edit/gateways, Website Payments Pro is not checked as using the lower cost WPS. Its currency code is also set to USA with the API Server set to sandbox. So Pro should not be active at all.

Will test again and see what happens and if not corrected then just changing the titles will solve the issue.
