Hello there!

First things first: Great work on this module. Congrats to the whole team!

Now, my question. I'm really new to Drupal, so I'm pretty sure I'm missing something here.

A friend for whom I'm building a site needs some e-commerce functionality. He doesn't want price tags on his products (biomedical stuff, which BTW are quite expensive), only an order form to ask for a quote.

Seems I have most of the configuration right. My problem comes up when I try to create the product the form asks me for the "Customer purchase price", and doesn't let me build the catalog.

How can I desable this function?

Thanks in advance.

Not quite...

Thanks for the reply. Smiling

I followed the thread, read and tried everything. And, no.

Even disabled and uninstalled all Übercart, deleted it, checked my database just to be sure no trace of ÜC was left and installed it again --leaving out the payment module.

Configured it carefully, and I'm still being asked for the price of every item I create. Of course, the price appears every time you look at the product.

Guess mow I need to tweak the themes, right?

On /admin/store/settings/products/edit/fields you can disable those fields on the view page. You'll still have to fill them in on the edit form, but you can just put 0.

Hey, Lyle!

Thanks for your reply, I'll give it a try later tonight 'cause after a quick look I didn't find /admin/store/settings/products/edit/fields. Isn't it administer > store administration > configuration > product fields ??

I have to run right now --I'm off to a The Police concert Smiling

Hi, Lyle!

Gosh! This is getting embarasing. Followed your tip [BTW I figured out what /admin/store/settings/products/edit/fields means, Eye-wink ] and prices don't appear by the product. Thanks.

Problem is that in the cart block I get a total amount of the buy; and in the view cart page I get a subtotal amount; and in the checkout I get a price and subtotal column.

I'm really sorry to bother you (all you actually) again and again.

Warm regards from sunny México!
