Hi everyone - this seems like an odd problem but unless I'm missing something, it looks like Ubercart is operating correctly.

When I put a credit card through an order is generated and I receive a thank you order confirmation email however Authorize.net does not actually receive the order until I login to the system, go to the new order and click "Process Card".

It seems like that should all happen automatically when the user submits their order but I can't figure out how to make it happen.

Am I missing something?

Do you have the following set:

Under Store Administration -> Configuration -> Payment Settings
Expand the Credit Card Settings and make sure that "Attempt to process credit card at checkout" is checked.

Is this checked? If not, then the cards will not automatically be processed.
