I use ubercart for a week now. I'd like the module very much.
Is it possible to show two lists on the homepage, one list contains the best selling top-5 products and the other list shows the special offer products(discount).

I have panels enabled on the homepage and my intention is to provide the list as blocks to the panels.

I am not able with views to build those lists.

Any help is welcome.

opa, you're going to have to use Views or jordi's blocks to get something like this done. His blocks at the moment are part of the catalog module, though we're looking at splitting the marketing type blocks out into their own module.

It works like clockwork, here is an example of our implementation (site is Dutch but you'll get the idea)

Can you show me how to get the catalog layout for www.tutusfortoddlers.com like you have the catalog layout on http://tierelantijnonline.com/catalog?

Thanks,
Claire

Oh what a cute site, Tutus! If I understand you correctly, you would like the catalog on the main page? There are two possibilities, 1) change the site information settings (Homepage information) from node to catalog, or one very versatile module I am extremely fond of is http://drupal.org/project/panels!

Re: List best selling and special offer products

That would be great if they were into their own module.
I want to make one of Jodi's blocks a view and use that as my page.
It would be great to have a node/view that had a table were each row was grid like "Best Sellers" block but instead of "Best Sellers" each row is for a taxonomy term from Catalog.

1. Does that make sense?
2. Can that be done?

Thanks,
Claire

to tierelantijnonline.com

I am from the netherlands too but to make this conversation for everyone understandable I write in English.

Did you make a new product for Nu in de aanbieding! and an category aanbieding or something like that? Or how did you do it?

I want to use panels and add block where I can show those things. Where can I find jordi's blocks?

And do you have the dutch translation of übercart?

Thx

Re: to tierelantijnonline.com

Very quick answer opa, I'm on my way out...

1- You can find Jordi's blocks in http://bazaar.ubercart.org, just download the files in "UC_Catalog" and overwrite the ones you have. Then you can tweak what you with on your catalog page and even translate most terms in Dutch.
2- To make an object "in de aanbieding", just click "sticky" and it will appear on the list.
3- I went into the code and tweaked some of the most blatant codes to dispay the messages in Dutch... nothing fancy!

the node to catalog worked perfectly! Thank you guys so much! This is a really great open source community you've got going here. I don't know much about anything yet, but when i do figure things out I will try and help others out~
