I am trying to get ubercart to supply more info to paypal so the order has some description on it.
We are asking customers to print the order to use as an event ticket, for example to a museum event or concert.
Is there a way to get ubercart to pass something other than "Order 16 at Sitename"?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: paypal integration

I believe I've found the solution to my own question by reviewing the Paypal Website Payment Standard
admin/store/settings/payment/edit/methods
and choosing "Submit an itemized order showing each product and description"
in cart submission methods

Thanks for posting the solution, as I'm sure that's something I might have questions on when I get to the payment integration!

Re: Re: Re: paypal integration

This is the way I was doing it as well... although I found (JUST TODAY) that if you send an itemized order, it will only pass along the order price and the tax.

I also had a service fee attached to my price (with the Ubercart FEES module), but those fees weren't being passed along to PayPal. So I had to change it back to send a single line order.
