So I've set up a new rule
Customer completes checkout--->Update Order Status to Completed
Are there any negative implications to this? I can't think of any since completed should be add to cart->checkout->make a payment->go to completed page.

It seems fine as long as you don't need to do anything else with the order. Maybe someone else is doing the same thing and can comment.

I didn't think there would be anything wrong, as long as it will trigger the other events that require a completed order and there wasn't some setting that might process it as completed as soon as they are redirected to paypal. But as if something comes up I'll make sure to post back and let people know I messed up. Thanks for responding.
