   Has anyone got this going for any of the PayPal services? I know the UK Direct Payment API is complete different from the US API so I'm assuming it hasn't been implemented. I'm still a little confused as to how to configure Ubercart properly for each of the different services. I have the PayPal side of t worked out as per the (cached) thread: Perhaps a quick start guide here would help?

Man, I haven't even glanced at the PayPal UK system before. I don't know what's different about it at all. Were you saying you were having trouble configuring the U.S. version or the UK version? Glad to see you're back, though. I'll be reposting your contributions a little later, but I'll probably need you to reupload the zip files.
I wouldn't worry about it
I wouldn't worry about it too much (well, I'm not). There was a bit of media in the UK about PayPal locking accounts if the anti-paypal sites are anything to go by. I did find something interesting on it which says: I might be possible to implement but would require understanding the reams of doco that they put out about it and which is not very helpful generally. They haven't put much work into the UK product it seems. 
I need PayPal's Direct Payment API
I haven't yet found a UK payment solution for Ubercart that I'm happy with. Despite this I keep building Ubercart sites (because Ubercart rocks!) but I desperately want to find a payment solution I can just bolt onto every site. My clients are after credit card processing and PayPal's Direct Payment API seems to be the best option. I would be please to provide a bounty for this integration. |
