I was looking through the list of tokens for generating the SKU with power tools module.
Thought I would ask for some suggestions on this. I've got to enter over 700 product items to start.
I'm really looking for some suggestions on the SKU generation.
Some suggestions on tokens to use, etc.
I am not concerned for adding the 700 product items, because I can just create SKU by calculation methods,etc., using Excel spreadsheet and CSV save it.
Then I upload the csv and all products installed along with SKU, which is starting point..
My real concern is after the initial work is done a human person will add additional products on a one at a time basis to grow the product list.
I need a consistent method to create unique SKU using the generate SKU of power tools.
Automatic generation of SKU is important thereafter so that the person creating the product item cannot make mistakes entering the SKU.
