ok first off I am new to all this but come from a C background, enough on this subject. I have a need and from reviewing the forums I can only at best get some non general answers that don't really apply.
so here is my wish list of questions.

1. how to remove the sandbox testing for paypal? and what version of paypal is required? Pro?,simple business? I seen this on a post and never found the answer.

tutorial need for this next step:
2. I need to upload a video and have that video now become a product in a cat that we will name for this example. 5.00_vids
once the user clicks on the item video-1 that should take them to the cart for checkout, than paypal returns and the video-1 is now ready for the user to download.
All of this seems simple but I dont find a Clear example anywhere that lays out the steps needed. Could some PLEASE take the time for us new users to make a Clear step by step layout of how to at least add one Item and process that item with paypal and return back for download.
posting segments of code is Not helping with the understanding and operation and as well only has the effect of driving us away to a more documented application.
I like what is see now I need some general help to push me into the right direction
Thanks.

Re: Need some guys

Oh sorry I'm in the wrong place, I thought this was dating site.

You might get a better response if you title your post more appropriately.

I'm not officially related to the site, just someone who recently installed and got a store setup.

But yes documentation isn't the hold your hand kind of stuff. But no code segments are needed, not sure what you are referring to.

Use the http://www.ubercart.org/docs/user to get started for the install and basic config.

Then go through each and every config screen (there is about 20 of them) and read what they do, it is pretty well explained on each page and changes settings as needed. It is pretty much common sense.

Like you ask about how to change paypal from sandbox to live? You clearly haven't even tried on your own to do this. Just goto to 'payment settings' and under 'paypal websites pro' change the 'api server' from 'sandbox' to 'live'.

Everything is their, along with simple explanations about what stuff does, you just need to install and explore. You can't break it.

reply to your post

well if you reply is in any way the reaction of this site and application than from this 65 year old man you can keep you comments and smart ass remarks and as well the worst undocumented app I have ever seen to yourself. Amazing how you can spend so much time making remarks but have yet failed to do more than push yet another prospective user off to some other application.
Have a good day I came here for help not your smart ass mouth. I dont need this at my age
