Was this information Helpful?

My client has over 400 products in his store. Recently he has told me he wants to put all the products on sale (from $3.00 to $2.00)

Is there a way to bulk-edit the prices of ALL the products at once? Or will I need to edit the price on each product individually?

Any help is appreciated.

Re: Bulk Updating prices

Take a look at the DB with phpMyAdmin. The price can be altered in uc_products with a little bit of SQL. And then changed back.

Sets sell price to be multiplied by 2 -- use .5 for one-half -- use 1.25 for 125%, etc.

As an example to increase the sell price from $8 to $16:

UPDATE `db_name`.`uc_products` SET `sell_price` = `sell_price` * 2 LIMIT 100 ;

Be sure to make a backup of the table just in case it is needed.
