I have a site that is for a university center. Most of the site should stay exactly as it is, we just want to make it possible for a small subset of students who visit the site to pay some fees online. I don't want to turn my whole site into an ecommerce store. What is the best approach to take to setting this up? Is there anything I need to watch out for? I'm reasonably experienced with Drupal, but a newbie with Ubercart. Thanks for any guidance.

I think the main thing will be to hide unnecessary blocks or catalog.
Also, if the sudents will be a member of a role, then you can use the role ro set permissions so that only those will that role have access.
