I am helping a friend with www.ironpickets.com/ucart. We are hoping to resolve the issues and go live at the end of this week.

I have been reading about the product layout in the catalog. I really like the http://www.playersracquetshop.com product layout with products on the left and right and a very different layout of the text.

I read notes and screen shots from the alascian jewlery and the tutos shop that alude to it, but so far only the catagories (top level catalog (gothic, twists, tubes, etc.) use grid layout. I am really just trying optimize the space. Balusters are long and narrow and this was a way to clean up the display.

I tried to download views 1.5 and installed, but it fails on trying to create a new view. I have tried to look at the innards of the uc_products and uc_catalog and it is completely greek. I feel as thought I am somewhat literate in many other languages.

Question 1: Is there a dummies guide (yellow and black) for drupal development? Views?

Question 2: Is there a simple way to get product to layout 2 to a row instead 1?

Question 3: This really ties back to Q2. Is there a way to change the layout of products in the product list.

Any help would be appreciated. This is a wonderful tool.
