I have a list of products that I want to add, and I want to put them into 1 of 8 categories.

I had the Visual Catalog in the left column working all fine and great, but it only had 1 of my 8 categories listed there.

So I deleted all my products and categories, and would like a simple explanation, from scratch, how do i add categories, so they WILL show in my visual catalog, and how do I add a product so it lists under that specific category?

I've now ripped down the whole site and started it again, and I'm going to go through with the whole README of the site before I ask any more n00b questions on here. Smiling

I fixed it. I was trying to add product categories without assigning the products to each category. Has taken me about 2 hours to actually understand what I was doing, what I was doing wrong, and where I was headed.

The Ubercart Guide wasn't all that too specific about what I was supposed to be doing, but it did help. Needs to have a Follow Step #1, Follow Step #2, from beginning to end for total n00bs like me.
