I heard about this UberCart thing and so far is works pretty good. Also, fairly complicated for someone like me without any PHP coding experience. Anyways, about my question... I did not want to modify a template that was already created by UberCart, I wanted to use my own web page and just add buttons and things that will add products to a cart that ran in the background, but, if necessary, I would leave all the links regarding dynamic information, like account information, shopping cart and checkout page, linked to another page where I can copy and/or paste the code into.

What I'm trying to say is; is there any way to create a site using UberCart that does not use the prefabricated templates. Just simply using copy and pasted code?

Übercart runs on Drupal, so your site really has to be built on it for things to work as smoothly as possible.

Honestly, I'm not sure where you're coming from. I don't think the cart can be in the background. It's just as much a part of the site as a blog is. That said, you may be able to work with the Cart Links module to do what you want.

Copy pasting the code is part of theming ubercart/drupal... You can pretty much have everything looking the way you want, but you might need some assistance of a coder redirecting things nicely to your template files... Further more...
