Well, I've done some searching here and on drupal.org and I cannot for the life of me work out how to turn this off... I've tried to find somewhere to get rid of it but I'm up against a blank... I can't believe I have got mostly this far on my own and am stumped on something this trivial...

Re: "Add New Comment" button under each product

You'll need to edit your existing comment settings on each product edit page, right above the Menu settings fieldset. After that you can turn off the default settings for product nodes at /admin/content/types/product.

Thanks for that, I had actually turned the comments off, but I didn't realise I had to individually turn off comments for existing nodes... all sorted now Smiling
