Hi.
I have a ubercart site www.bestweightlossrecipes.com. It's on my own server. I have one ssl certificate on the server that I share over all sites. The ssl certificate is for the domain xs-served, in my server.

I've used this a lot on oscommerce, but don't know how to do it with Ubercart. The way it works is I set up different users, and then ftp files up there, and then pass in and out for the secure pages.

So the site is bestweightlossrecipes.com, and the secure pages are xs-served.com/~recipe

I've installed the module secure pages, but it doesn't have a place to set my shared ssl path. I've found a patch, that might be the right thing, at http://drupal.org/node/172358, but don't know how to install a patch. Also I'm not absolutely sure the patch is secure, as the comments after it indicate it's not. Can someone help?

Connie

Re: need help with shared ssl certificate

I'm not really sure how this works out... hopefully someone around has some expertise in the area. Here's a link to the thread on Drupal.org in case it gets answered there first.

shared ssl

Thanks for commenting. I'll try the patch I mention above on a test site. But I have no clue how to do a patch. Do I just paste the code into the file referenced at the top of the patch page??

Sorry to be clueless
