I have defined a product and in the product feature I have designated a role to be created upon order completed. I have also enabled that feature in the store configuration and I have also enabled and configured notification.

I have setup my store to use paypal sandbox right now and putting the order in and paying for it works just fine (as long as the coupon feature is not turned on) and I do get an email to my test account stating the payment was done, etc.

The account is even created but no role is assigned to the account, nor is there an email being sent out to the user to state that they now have a new account and can log in and create their electronic product.

Need some help.

Re: Role Assignment & Notification

Is the order being moved into the configured status? The role won't be granted (or the notification sent) if the order hasn't been moved to the status specified in the Role assignment settings.

Role Assignment

Thx, That worked; I had it set at completed but there were no workflow-ng action for that so I created that. Question, how could I clear up the reports after I have been doing all my testing (or do I have to file a seperate forum topic for that?)

Re: Role Assignment

You mean you want to delete dummy orders that you created for testing? If you go to the view orders page (admin/store/orders/view) you can click on the delete icon for any existing orders. Deleting orders from the database will prevent them from being used in Reports.

Shawn:
Yes, that is what I mean, delete dummy data. I will go ahead and follow your directions. Thank you.
