Urgent Uber Guru Advice Needed ...on credit card encryption

I launched ironpickets.com about three weeks ago and what a ride. Week one we had 20 visitors a day. Week two ranged between 50 and 110 visitors a day. Sales jump from doubled from sale numbers from ebay / craigslist.

I thought I was on the upswing and the all heck broke loose. Hosting provider crashed and everthing they did only made it worse. I am moving everything over to a more of a "Drupal" approved hosting company.

Here is the Question. I need to export the db and move it over another server. Will I have issues with the encrypted credit card numbers or will they simply move over? I am making the switch in 6 hours. About to start a dry run to make sure everything else works. Is the encryption key stored in the db and I should not sweat the small stuff?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

David

Hey David, as long as you move the encryption key file over you'll be alright. There isn't anything specific to the host or webserver involved in encryption.
