I have a product that provides a role for the user. I cannot simply add a user and give them this role as the expiration information does not work.

My idea was to clone my product product that is not published that I can process by COD to allow the system to go through all the steps needed to mirror an order that was done by Credit Card. Or to allow only admin to use the COD method of payment to purchase the same product that users must use their credit cards.

Other ideas that anyone might have that provide a similar solution are definitely welcome.
