so i decided to use node heirarchy instead of node relativity for linking songs to albums that we're selling.

i cannot figure out how to get that attribute selector box above the children nodes. it's driving me insane!!

any help would be great

Dr. Wits, I can't help much with your current issue but I thought I would throw something your way that I use in a similar situation. I use Views and Node reference to create embedded views within a node. I think the easiest way to explain this is by giving you the link I use for reference.
We just create the view be it a grid, table, or teaser and display that under the "parent" node.

node relativity

thanks for the reference thill. looks like i'm sticking with node relativity. the only problem i have is hiding the box for 'children'...
