Hi All,

I've done a search on the forum and I can't find an exact explanation, can someone clear this up for me. Basically I want to be able to track stock levels and when the stock level reaches 0, I don't want anyone to be able to add it to the cart, or when they try to add it to the cart, to return with an error saying there isn't enough stock.

I've seen there is a stock module in core, but that doesn't seem to stop people from adding it to the cart.

The stock module that is abandoned I think did this, but I've also seen that because of the core module that maybe this won't be going ahead.

How are others with the same problem deal with it?

Thanks,
Steph

Yes, I've seen that, thanks. It is showing up as abandoned though. I see that someone else has taken over it, but said because of the uc_stock being added to core, it changes things. Is anyone using the Inventory API & Simple Stock Levels with rc2?

Cheers
Steph

hey Steph,

I am using it, and there seems no probs at all.
But, yah, I am sticking with the older ubercart & Drupal 5.6 for now.

Is that true that it is going to be core?, that is awesome....

BTW, hows your site going?, I am almost about to launch (still wondering about best way to handle GST tho.. dammit...
