How do we make certain products one time buys? (S/hand items we only have one of)

Hi all,

We have a used parts section on our website. Products added here are unlike normal products simply as we only have one of them, how do we add a product to the site and make it a one time buy, as in once it's been bought no one else can come along and buy it again. Maybe the system could just un-publish it?

I know there is order threshold which emails you when a stock level reaches your preset limit, but, our website is popular and when we advertise rare s/hand items everyone tries to buy it at once meaning by the time we get an email 4-5 people may have bought the same item!!

If we had say two of the same s/hand items would we be able tell the system to sell a maximum of two then un-publish?Hopefully someone can recommend a solution.

I believe that when you use inventory.module this will solve your problem. set the inventory for each product to the number you have to sell. In your case 1, when it is sold that Item will no longer be forsale.
