I'm trying to move some products around on my site, but the list position doesn't do anything. Move their weights around doesn't effect the order whatsoever. I'm using a fairly recent bazaar version of Upercart, Drupal 5.7 and PHP5 - I searched the forum to see if this was happening anywhere and couldn't find anything. Is this something related to Drupal?

Sort

When in the admin mode you can edit your products class by going to products/edit. And then going down to the 'sort criteria' block.

One way to sort is by node ID which will then list all of your products starting at 59, 58 ..... 27, 26 etc. or the other way around. There are other choices available depending on your needs.

This may not answer your question, but it put my products starting from newest entered to oldest entered. The newer items appear on the home page and the oldest on the last page.

Re: List position not working

I could only get list position and nodeorder module working with views. In the "Sort Criteria" you need to add "Nodeorder: weight_in_tid" for nodeorder or "Product: List Order".

I prefer NodeOrder because it allows you to visually change the order of your products while viewing your product catalog where as the Product Position is only available when editing a product.
